The Kitchen
Gumbo and étouffée simmered low, oysters char-broiled to order, and Gulf seafood hand-battered and fried golden. This is Louisiana cooking, done right.

A Cajun & Creole kitchen and bar — gumbo, char-broiled oysters, po’boys and cold cocktails, in the heart of Lake Charles.
Roberta’s Prime is Lake Charles’s home for Cajun & Creole cooking — gumbo and étouffée, char-broiled oysters, po’boys and hand-battered fried seafood.
The kitchen runs on Louisiana staples done right, the grill turns out ribeyes and Gulf salmon, and the bar keeps the good times going with cold cocktails, Happy Hour on the patio, and a pour long after the plates clear. Come hungry — leave happy.
